In 1998 the Okubo Plant received its ISO9001 certification (for product quality),and received it’s ISO14001 certification (for environmental management systems) in 2002. The ISO Series is a set of international certifications that can only be acquired by plants that minutely analyze and test every aspect of the manufacturing process and optimize their systems to the ultimate degree, making the Kobelco Crane Company a market leader in crane manufacturing.
